Species Description

Common Name: King Bolete; Porcini; Cepe; Steinpilz

 Stem should have white netting & is often bulbous. Can be HUGE, up to 15” across. Arguably the best eating mushroom in the world. Likes conifers. In Allegheny County, found only under spruce.
