For how much rain we’ve had there is a good variety of mushrooms, but not many of any one kind. There’s some springs along the trail with big spots of moss, most of what was found was in those areas. Jack-o-lanterns are meant to glow in the dark so he took them home, but no cool glowing photos were forthcoming. Brian reports that they only had a slight hint of glowing from a few gills. Michael Kuo has more to say on the subject.
