Common Name: AKA Aureoboletus auriporus

 Pores brilliant yellow, getting dull with age, and usually staining red. Pinkish red layer above flesh & below cap skin. Cap quite viscid & cap skin tastes acidic. Cap skin easy to remove. Often has a long stem. Can be confused with B. innixus.
