Description

Common Name: AKA Aureoboletus projectellus

 Cap flesh has a lemony taste. Stem viscid and very netted, often with white hairs at the base. Cap is usually a cupcake shape with the pores coming up the sides instead of the typical “hamburger bun.” Likes pine, especially Scot’s Pine. An eastern version of the Admirable Bolete (mirabilis).
