Description

Description

The cap (which often cracks) is some shade of brown, often with dark green or blue tinges by the edge. The stem usually gets paler by the pores (sometimes with hints of green or blue) and at the base. A special tell: Wrap the sliced mushroom in wax paper for an hour and the paper will stain blue/green where it touches the flesh.
