Tylopilus badiceps

Description

Flesh stains pink, but slowly. Pores stain brown. Cap starts red, ages to dark red-brown. Compared to the Brown-Net Bolete (variobrunneus), it has a redder cap and much less prominent reticulation. Spore print is purple/brown.
