An afternoon walk for a change and following on from the Mushroom classes held earlier in the day at the Cooper-Siegel Community Library. There was an introduction to mushrooms in the morning followed by an afternoon session covering corals, clubs and jellies. We were in luck on the walk and found some examples from all the three different classes. Find of the day was the Thuemenella cubispora, a supposedly rare mushroom, growing on a log next to the path. We also found a few bags worth of Chanterelles between us from two or possibly three different species. This is a great little suburban park with a wide variety of species.
