Join an ALT educator for a mushroom walk at Girty’s Woods! This is not a traditional guided hike. After a brief introduction, participants will hike on their own in search of fungi. We will then meet back up for an identification session to learn what we discovered. We will not be foraging for food on this hike or discussing edibility.
No walk ins will be permitted. Hike runs rain or shine. Drive to the end of Irwin Lane and you will see an open gate. Drive through the open gate and park in the grassy area just past. ALT staff will guide you. Please do not park along Irwin Lane. Tickets are $5 for adults; no ticket required for ages 2 and under. Register here:
