Meet walk leader and club identifier Richard Jacob for a mushroom walk at the Grove Run picnic area in Linn Run State Park. We have found a number of interesting species in this area on past walks.
The varied topography and mixed hardwood and evergreen forest make the 612-acre Linn Run State Park a scenic place for picnicking, hiking and cabin rentals. Grove and Rock runs join to make Linn Run, an excellent trout stream, with the lovely Adams Falls. Forbes State Forest borders Linn Run State Park and offers 50,000 acres of land for outdoor recreation.
There is no sign up, fee or attendance limits for this walk.
