how do I sign up? Am I missing a registration button?
Hi Eli, The event had gone to sold out status but it turned out that some of the applications were unsuccessful duplicates. Can you try again, there are a few spots open.

Hi Natalie, There is no limit or sign up for the number of attendees for the majority of club organized walks. Classes and the main foray are the exceptions. Walks organized with a third party like ALT tend to have sign ups. The Mushroom class in the morning is close to full but the afternoon walk is open so please come along. There will be quite a few walks added in the next week or so and none of them will have sign up limits.

I did not see that attendance is limited until I looked at this response thread.
I’m not on Facebook often but I’ve submitted to join the recommended group.
Can I simply show up for the events or will I have to sign up?
If I have to sign up, is there any way to do this besides through Facebook?

Hi, This walk is not limited and you are welcome to attend. The education class in the morning is sold out though. In almost all cases for walks run by WPMC the walk is free and there is no attendance limit or sign up. Walks run in collaboration with another group may have fees to attend and limits on the number of participants and sign up forms. We will make it clear in those cases. For WPMC events the exceptions are education classes and the annual foray. That’s because we typically have to pay for room/building rental or other supplies for the event. The class has a separate event here. Normally there is a form to fill out on the page, similar to the membership form. But as it has sold out the form is replaced with the text “Sorry the education day has sold out. There may be a cancellation so please email [email protected] and ask to join the waiting list.” I did mean to put a large sold out sign there but . . . For future events such as the clubs foray we will advertise in the newsletter and on our social media. Sign up for the foray will open fairly soon, probably by the end of the month, here.
