Join a collaborative mushroom walk with Phipps, WPMC, and Flannel Roots Farm. Participate in a foraged ID session, collect specimens, and learn about natural fungi in our area. Flannel Roots will also help us identify and potentially roast our edible finds for on-site tasting. With special permits allowing us to eat our foraged food, this is a unique opportunity that you won’t want to miss! Flannel Roots will provide small bites and drinks made with seasonal mushrooms. Feel free to bring sketching materials as we discuss various fungi species, their habitats, and cooking tips. $45 for Phipps members and $60 for nonmembers.
