Sometimes the address and location information for a meeting point is not 100% accurate. Some parks and meeting point do not have a street address so it is difficult to program the map to point to the exact location. We request that no one hunts a walk or foray location for at least two weeks prior to a walk or foray. It is only through your cooperation that we can have successful walks and forays. All walks & forays will be held rain or shine. Come 15-30 min early and socialize. All walks start on time, so be early, if you are late we will already be in the woods. If you are a club member and have already joined our Facebook Group you can find last minute additions or changes there.
I live near North Park, I have 30+ acres , and I can’t find a Morel to save my self. I’m not a member, and I will be working so I can”t make this coming meeting to find out what I don”t know.

Morel hunting is about been at the right place at the right time, with keen eyes and a bit of luck (or lots of persistence) thrown in. Even if you can not make the meeting the starting point for Tuesdays talk is here. Right now it is Morel season down in South Carolina and is going to take about another month before it reaches us. Track the season at morelhunters.com. We expect to find morels on some of the Saturday walks in April and May so please think about joining the club.
