Walk leader Barbara DeRiso. Despite threatening skies and a very few raindrops, some 25 mushroom enthusiasts joined Barbara DeRiso, John & Kim Plischke and Dick Dougall at Camp Guyasuta on Saturday, June 4. Lots of mushrooms, including a quite odiferous “stinky squid” were found, even some by first-timers! The group meandered up the Guyasuta trail and spent some time enjoying the waterfalls at the trailhead. Special thanks to Ranger Mike Daniher for allowing us access to this beautiful urban preserve.
