In the heels of an hour of summer downpour, 17 people attended the walk at Linbrook Woodlands/Park. While most started at the Park side, 3 others followed their GPS to the Woodlands side. Most fungi were a bit tattered or old, as growing conditions have been mostly dry. Despite cloudy conditions making it extra dim beneath the trees, we found many different species. The pre-hike rain even revived the Marasmius species for us.
