It was a fantastic day to meet with Rachael Mahony of the PA DCNR at Linn Run State Park. Around 30 people came out to learn about mushrooms and 78 species were identified by club identifiers Jared White, John Plischke, and Richard Jacob. Special thanks to Tugrul DeLuce, Thomas Patterson, and Judy Mackenroth for ID assistance as well.
Species list entered by Jared White.

Is the “unknown asco growing over the forest floor” Phaeohelotium epiphyllum? It typically grows on fallen leaves and I’ve been seeing it a lot lately.
That looks good. It was on acorn shells and leaves.
Thanks for adding all the great photos Richard!
Ohh, nice ID, that’s it! Thanks Adam.
