The bimonthly newsletter was sent out a week ago. In the letter is a beginners guide to local boletesย andย Jeffrey Berkowit recipes from the Augustย meetings cooking demonstration.ย It’s the tail end of the Chanterelleย season but members brought in the first of this years honey mushrooms, both ringless (Armillaria tabescens) andย a specimen from the 10 speciesย Armillariย mellea group. There has also been a sighting of a hen of the woods (Grifola frondosa) soย enjoy your autumn mushroom walks.
