Walk leader Jack and Valerie Baker. About 60 people turned up for the walk, a lot of them new to mushrooms. It was a hot, dry day but shady and cooler in the woods. Sixty-four identifiable species were found. Only two people found a good quantity of Chanterelles as they went off on their own to explore the Devils Elbow trail–the mushrooms were hidden under fallen leaves there. Chanterelles were sparsely scattered around the Park. More Boletes were found than anything else.
Species list entered by Jack and Valerie Baker. Identifiers were LaMonte Yarrow, Dick Dougall, Brian Sanders, John Plischke III, and Jack Baker.
