Some chose to celebrate “Easter Sunday” this year on a mushroom walk. One walk was held in the morning, another in the afternoon with American Sign Language interpreters. Each walk had over a dozen people in attendance. The weeks leading up to this were dry which meant we were mostly appreciating remnants of last year’s polypore & crust fungi, but several fresh fruiting bodies were found.
